Drought to Flood (A Texas Norm.)Flood 2007
It rained in Marble Falls 18 inches overnight and brought
the chain of lakes (Lake Travis) that were down 45 feet back up to above normal levels.
The LCRA had to put 4 flood gates open on the Mansfield Dam to keep the flood
from raising the waters too high.
18 inches?!?! That'd drown most of us. We can get that amount over a long weekend (the weekend the mudslide occured).
