My right arm for a Boy's Big Boy!! You got them there? If so and my daughter comes to live in Austin, I'll be there before they get there.
On one of the last trips to LA while Dad was able to get around we went to our favorite haunt: BBB in Toluca Lake, near North Hollywood. We had the usual and while eating, here come the prime cast from Home Improvement to sit next to us. Dad had no clue who they were and he made sure they knew Bob's had the best hamburgers if they were wondering what to eat. Tim Allen and the rest all nodded and were real regular folks about it. They all had such sweet smiles on for Dad when he & I left the restaurant.
No. We dont have them here or In n Out..... Good burgers though. We have been many times to the one in Toluca Lake and LOVE it. As a matter of fact. I believe that is where Jim and Beth met.
Bob's Big Boy. How we all remember them. Especially Beth. I remember when Bob Wain spoke to the students at Glendale and Hover High school about the cost of his hamburger and why he had to raise the price a nickel.
