South Congress (So Co)

A very popular street in Austin, Texas. There is a section on their that is called the Trailer Park. This location has very eclectic Air Stream Trailers with various types of food and drink. Including live music being played as you sit and relax under umbrellas. This is before and after people walk up and down about a six or seven block area of South Congress shopping and just taking in the interesting stores and signs. There is also and area where vendors under a small tented city sell their wares. (that is VERY Austin) Being a young person in the '70's growing up in such a wonderful unique town, I remember Guadalupe by the University of Texas, or the Drag as we used to call it having a large tent city of vendors selling their wares. I believe it was on 24th street. Very awesome wares all hand made by the artist sitting behind the table they were on.

That is the Austin I know and LOVE!
