    Wow, great picture! I used to spend a lot of time trying to take pictures of birds of prey, but they're very camera shy, and seemed to always have a sixth sense about when I was going to press the shutter, which is of course when they'd fly away! I think I got two or three "decent" pictures back when I was doing that.

    When and where did you take this picture?

    March this year in Yellowstone. We went on a snowmobile trip and stopped to look at a nesting. We were lucky enough to catch both birds guarding the nest... It was incredible and I would recommend it if you ever get the chance.... Be sure and dress warm... be sure and keep your cameras close to your chest... (to keep them from freezing...)
