Red Shouldered Hawk

An unbelievably beautiful bird.
He just stayed there and let me photograph him.
My totem animal - He's telling me not to sweat the small stuff....

    There was a family of these nesting near my house. Squirrel population decreased for a while.

    OK, how do you do that?!? I've never been able to get anywhere near a bird of prey without them flying away! You must be some kind of Hawk Whisperer... Byron
